Is this the ultimate man-cave must-have?
What could be smoother than putting on some sweet vinyl and sipping a single malt Scotch?
The only answer: doing both from the same cabinet.
That’s the sort of gentlemanly sophistication offered by the Luno EGB2 Record Console.
Crafted in American walnut, this gorgeous piece of Mid Century-style furniture houses a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable, amplifier, two-way speaker system, separate subwoofer and storage space for 150 records.
While it looks like something out of Mad Men, the EGB2 also boasts the modern media convenience of AirPlay so you can stream music from your digital devices.
But that’s only half the awesome because, in a move of which Don Draper would definitely approve, the console also has a pull-out mini-bar with space for four of your best bottles.
It even ships with a quartet of specially made gold-rimmed whisky glasses.
The one drawback could be the price.
With the turntable alone retailing locally at $A500, you can expect to pay thousands for a custom-made EGB2, especially as you’ll be shipping it from Los Angeles.
Still, we can dream, right?
