With Daniel Craig out, 007 is now seriously in play…
You’ve got to hand it to Daniel Craig because the man sticks to his, er, guns.
On the PR trail for SPECTRE last year, he said he’d rather slash his wrists than reprise the role of James Bond.
Now, despite an astounding $137m offer to do two more 007 flicks, Craig has walked away from the franchise.
That leaves us wondering who’ll be issued the next license to kill.
Tom Hiddleston (below) seems a lock, with British bookmakers suspending betting last week after a particularly large wager saw his odds flip from 2-1 to 1-2.
Hiddleston’s Brit-spy stock surged on the back of The Night Manager, which saw him voted TV’s most stylish man.
Other favourites include Idris Elba (below), best known as TV’s Luther and Macklemore’s dance off partner, and Damien Lewis (bottom), who has impressed as American characters in Homeland, Billions and Band Of Brothers.
Tom Hardy (below) is also in the mix, though, personally, we’d hate to hear the suave super spy turned intoa mumbling Bane/Mad Max.
Who do you want to see take the role?
