We salute Hollywood’s hottest tamale on her 50th birthday…
Here’s the ultimate reason that Donald Trump is an idiot. If he’d built his wall back in the day, the US of A and the rest of the world might’ve been denied the beauty, power and sauciness is that Salma Hayek.
Incredibly, this hottest of tamales turns 50 today. Not that you’d know it. Like Halle Berry, she’s proving that age does not weary the sexiest of women. So, to celebrate, here are our five fave Salma film moments.
1. From Dusk Till Dawn
Salma was mesmerising as the “mistress of the macabre” as Santanico Pandemonium, writhing snake-dancing vampire vixen in 1996’s From Dusk Till Dawn.
In Kevin Smith’s wild religious satire, doofuses Jay and Silent Bob share a brewski at a bar that happens to feature a stripping Salma. Turns out she’s the muse of Inspiration, named Serendipity.
In 2002, Salma showed her smarts and power as a producer with this critically acclaimed biopic of artist Frida Kahlo. But there was also room for a bit of raunch with co-star Ashley Judd.
4. Across The Universe
Salma as a naughty nurse, singing the Beatles? While it sounds like a fever dream, it actually happened in this oddball musical tribute to the Fab Four. She helps out on “Happiness Is A Warm Gun”. Oh, yes it is.
5. Grown Ups 2
Proving she’s still got it, Salma lent her amazing body to this hot yoga scene from Adam Sandler’s comedy hit. “Slap that!”
