The imminent completion of Pacific Fair’s redevelopment on the Gold Coast will make it the largest shopping centre in Queensland.
Gold Coasters have watched with increasing anticipation as the $670 million redevelopment of Pacific Fair at Broadbeach – set to become the largest shopping centre in Queensland – has gradually taken shape.
The complete renovation of the famous shopping centre will be finished by mid-2016 but a major new stage of the redevelopment has just opened, with David Jones, H&M and UNIQLO opening their stores.
In coming months, luxury retailers such as Bally, CHANEL Beaute, Christian Louboutin, Coach, and Salvatore Ferragamo, as well as new stores for Bed Bath N Table, Camilla, Dion Lee, Kate Spade, Kit and Ace, L’Occitane, MIMCO, Seed, Superdry, TUMI and UGG Australia will also open.
“When the opening of Pacific Fair is complete in mid-2016, the centre will have an unparalleled retail mix with a combination of international high-street stores, iconic global, luxury brands and leading Australian fashion, leisure and lifestyle retailers,” said Bryan Hynes, MD of AMP Capital Shopping Centres.
To celebrate the opening of these new stores, Pacific Fair will be opening champagne bars in-centre, and entertaining shoppers with live music, artists, special promotions and VIP fashion events in the coming weeks.
