Object of Desire: New Nespresso Creatista

Categories Lifestyle

Coffee lovers have a new gadget to get obsessive about.

If like us you’ve become a little bit obsessive about the whole home barista movement largely popularised by Nespresso (with some help from George C), then the announcement of their new Creatista machine with Breville will be cause for some excitement.

Designed by Breville, the Creatista is the first Nespresso machine that allows users to choose their preferred milk texture and temperature to create silky smooth milk and latte art. The unique automatic steam wand technology is responsible for perfectly textured milk, every time.

From a creamy Cappuccino through to a Flat White or even a Latte, the home user can do their best barista impression by topping their creation with a milk foam design. The machine is equipped with a menu of 5 milk-based recipes as well including the options for different milk foam textures and temperatures.

Select your preferred coffee style via the digital interface, fill the provided jug with milk and place it on the temperature sensor. The milk is then automatically heated to the ideal temperature, while the steam wand froths it to the perfect texture required for the coffee selected, hands free.

The stylish design features premium high gloss exteriors, commercially inspired rounded edges and polished chrome details, and is available in two models – Creatista Plus and Creatista. Creatista Plus is available in eye-catching brushed stainless steel with chrome highlights, while Creatista comes in two metallic colour finishes – Black and Royal Champagne.

Available in Australia from October 31, 2016 at Nespresso Boutiques and online at $799RRP for Creatista Plus and $699RRP for Creatista.
