The wine-loving talk show host creates his own Sav Blanc with NZ’s Invivo.
One of the great things about Irishman Graham Norton’s internationally successful talk show is not only the high-powered celebrity guests, but also the way they love having a drink on air should the impulse take them.
Norton took his love of a drop a step further when he created his own Sauvignon Blanc with New Zealand winemaker Invivo six months ago, which has since won a number of awards around the world and sold 400,000 bottles. Graham Norton’s Own Sauvignon Blanc is now finally available in Australia through BWS.
Invivo is quick to assure that Norton didn’t just lend his name. He drinks the product on-air, is now a shareholder in the company, and measuring jugs, pipettes, tasting glasses and a selection of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc pressings was transported to London so Graham could add his personal touch.
“When the guys asked me if I wanted to get involved in the wine making process I jumped at the chance!” says Norton. “It’s lovely! Tropical fruit, a bit of zing… cheers to that!”
