Fans of the brand’s active footwear have a whole new, Rio-inspired colour scheme to consider.
Judging by those in gym gear bustling their way around our metropolises, you could be forgiven for thinking Nike has taken over fitness wear such is the prevalence of its footwear on the feet of the gym-goers.
Now the Nike brigade have a whole new, hyper-colourful range to sample, released to celebrate the imminent Rio Olympic Games.
Inspired by the tropical rainforests and exotic fauna of Rio and South America, Nike’s new signature unlimited colour way includes an exploration of national shades, which broaden traditional flag tones to both their brightest and their deepest extremes. “The harmonious mix of iridescent colours mimic the optic blur of a breakneck runner,” reckons Nike, “representing not only its wearer’s unlimited athletic abilities but also the way in which Nike views the world: bursting with unlimited inspiration and design possibilities.”
You’ll be making a statement, undoubtedly, though co-ordination with the rest of your gym ensemble may prove a challenge. The men’s group is pictured below.
