The iconic Italian brand finds a new home within an iconic Australian site.
Located inside one of the most famous shopping arcades in Australia, the new Diesel store in Sydney’s Strand Arcade puts its denim heritage at its heart.
The centrepiece of the store is the Denim Temple, a central concrete sarcophagus clad in glass and gold leaf designed by Russell & George, which pays homage to the ‘gods of denim’. The Denim Temple features all the premium denim pieces created by Creative Director Nicola Formichetti as part of new season collections.
Since its inception in 1978, Diesel has evolved from being a leading pioneer in denim into premium casual wear, becoming a true alternative to the established luxury market. Despite its growth, Diesel’s philosophy has remained the same: a brand standing for passion, individuality and self-expression.
