A jacket that’s a better investment than real estate…
In November last year Balmain and H&M finally released their much anticipated collaborative collection, having debuted the luxurious line the previous month in in a NYC show that featured Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and the Backstreet Boys.
Among the pieces available to stylish gents was an awesome embroidered leather jacket, as modeled by man hunk Lewis Hamilton.
Done in a limited edition, the lion jacket was priced at $US549 when it shipped to 62 H&M stores worldwide on November 5.
They sold out so fast that a buyer was willing to pay $US910 on eBay later that very day.
Now, just six months later, they’re as rare as hen’s teeth.
But one can still be had if you’re willing to pay… $4999 to a seller in Melbourne.
“Super rare, sold out everywhere,” the ad reads. “It is in size 36, which is a size M. Comes with original tags, hanger and dust bag.”
If that sounds like you and you’ve a lazy $5k to spare, the eBay auction ends tomorrow.
