The collaboration between a wearable tech giant and a Sydney fashion label has produced this beautiful film.
Sydney restaurateur-turned-fashion designer Maurice Terzini made a splash last Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with TEN PIECES, his considered and select collection of clothing with Lucy Hinkfuss.
This year they’ve gained some heft through a collaboration with wearable tech powerhouse Fitbit, creating a short film titled 10,000 Steps X TEN PIECES which debuted at MBFWA tonight. The film showcases the new TEN PIECES collection together with the recently launched Fitbit Blaze and Fitbit Alta.
“The inspiration for TEN PIECES is to create a unisex uniform for people who are always on the move and need clothes that are versatile, functional and modern,” say TEN PIECES co-founders Hinkfuss and Terzini. “The collaboration with Fitbit is a natural fit with a shared vision to help people move effortlessly from day to night with a look that reflects their personal style and motivates them to stay fit and healthy”.
Against a backdrop of dramatic sand dunes, the film features five models and dancers moving freely in TEN PIECES clothing while they track their activity on Fitbit devices and strive to achieve 10,000 steps. See the film below…
