Hawks star Cyril Rioli and dual international Ellyse Perry are among the local ambassadors fronting a new campaign for adidas.
adidas has announced the launch of a brand new category – adidas Athletics – designed to deliver a fresh new take on traditional pre- and post-match outwear.
Local adidas ambassadors including Rio gold medallist Kyle Chalmers, Hawks AFL stars Cyril Rioli, Adelaide’s Eddie Betts, Melbourne Storm’s Cameron Munster, women’s cricket and soccer star Ellyse Perry and all-round sportswoman Lauryn Eagle feature in the campaign
The category launches with the adidas Z.N.E. Hoodie , designed to help an athlete maintain concentration immediately before they take to the field or when they’re in the zone by reducing noise distraction, minimising visionary interference and protecting from discomfort.
The over-sized hood combines double-layered side and front panels to eliminate outside distractions, and is large enough to accommodate over-ear headphones. The premium, heavyweight cotton/polyester/elastane blend is designed for comfort and hidden zipper pockets are perfect for storing personal items when on-the-go. A discreet inner label carries a motivational message celebrating the mental strength and focus of athletes.
