Men’s Style co-hosted an in-store event at Burberry’s George St flagship store on Tuesday night.
The new fragrance, Mr Burberry, was the pretext for Burberry and Men’s Style to host a private function in the brand’s beautiful George St, Sydney store on Tuesday, April 19.
John Mutton, Managing Director of Burberry Australia, introduced the fragrance to guests, explaining its design links to the Burberry Heritage Trench coat as well as a brief history of Thomas Burberry’s famous coat creation as well.
Men’s Style editor Michael Pickering then spoke on the wider trend to personalisation in the fashion industry, a trend led by Burberry with its newly introduced monogramming service for the Heritage Trench Coat as well as on bottles of Mr Burberry. Monogramming was also previously available on scarves available at the in-store Burberry Scarf Bar.
A tasting of Chivas Regal followed, conducted by brand ambassador Rachel MacDonald, rounding out a tasteful evening with a definite bespoke feel.
